I didn't post much about my visit to Madrid, but t I didn't post much about my visit to Madrid, but that in no ways means it lacked exciting moments.. esp the foodie ones. I did my research as always and in case you are lokking to try something delicious & with a story behind it, these two places are a must see! 1. La Duquesita 📍C. de Fernando VI, 2, Centro One of the most famous pastry shops in Madrid, primarily famous for their Palmeras. They do produce a variety of pastry, but tasting this palmera was just out of this world, heavenly experience. Tender and crispy, caramelised but not too sweet, and it the end- just melting in the mouth. The price for one big palmera is 2,70€ but it is well worth the price. 2. Chocolateria San Gines 📍Pasadizo de San Ginés, 5, Centro If you were never impressed by churros before, just like me, this place will change your mind. San Gines is a legendary spot, close to Plaza Mayor and you should definitely visit it gorgeous breakfast, the traditional way. A cup of thick, delicious hot chocolate and a set of freshly fried churros will arrive to you within minutes since the circulation of people in this place is huge. Preparing for my trip to Philippines took a lot of Preparing for my trip to Philippines took a lot of reading, planning and research.. and I loved every bit of it. 🗺️ One of the best experiences was driving with a motorcycle 🏍️ to the Tumalog Falls in Cebu and taking a short hike to this breathtaking view.. then jumping in and refreshing ourselves underneath the waterfall. Somehow, this has been the least visited spot in Cebu with mostly locals hanging around. . Last day enjoying the good island life on Siargao Last day enjoying the good island life on Siargao is hereby finished. All that is left to do is one overnight in Manila and a flight back home. When I started planning this trip, most people told me 12 days is way too short for such a trip.. and I would agree with them. On the other hand, when 12 days is all you got, it will most certainly do. Thanks to one of my best friends from AIDA days, @roban183, I felt at home, safe and comfortable at all times (apart from a moment when my ankle decided to give up on me).
